A series of photographs of the reality of Haiti accumulated over the years.

This series is about relooking into my home country with foreign eyes. 

It is about the journey, reality vs. imagination, the differences between countries, the social injustices, and the echoes of colonization, racism, and colorism, etc.

It's a reflection of how it is now, mixed with my memories, and how I hope it one day can become. 

I am currently experimenting with how I want to represent a black and white photograph concerning color photographs... some are saturated, some are more grainy, some are more faded, and some are more emphasized...

I am also working on a series of playful collaged landscapes of Canada in parallel to this ongoing project.
